Hi all! Im Sunny and Im new to Hondata
I have got a PRC ecu with kpro inside(Green board,guess its a v1 or v2?) in a DC5 Type R.

Recently I would like to remap the ecu for upcoming track event using KManager ver.4.3.3.0 (Just downloaded from official website).
After I had the kmanager installed, I then connect the kpro to my laptop (Window XP).
Drivers installed, then clicked Online->Tools->Download (Want to take a look on the current map)
I can view all of the maps, and after did some minor adjustment I then upload it to the KPro(Online->Upload).

Upload was successful, so I turn off the ignition and on again.....
The KPro then cannot connect to my laptop, bottom left shows Driver installed,Error,Ignition off (Even ignition is on)
Both upload,download and firmware update function cannot be performed. Wonder did I just mess up with it.

Did you save the calibration to the laptop? Because the next step would be to use Online -> Tools -> Erase ECU and then upload the calibration again, but that will stop you from downloading the calibration from the ECU.

What is the serial number that is on the K-Pro board inside the ECU?

I did save the old calibration to the laptop.
First I download the old calibration, then I upload the calibration. But I didnt erase the ecu after downloading....

So next time the correct process should be....Donwload calibration->Erase current calibration in the ecu->Upload new/changed calibration?

It seems I cannot find any serial number on my kpro...not even a single word(in white color)
Stock ECU:37820-PRC-013, 2070-102020
Stock JDM DC5 ITR engine
All I can see is just a green board without any numbering or barcode >_<

Might be a counterfeit?

the ecu and kpro came with the car when i bought it second-handed,
Looks like a counterfeit kpro to me after reading the hondata counterfeit thread.

Is it possible to send my current ecu with fake kpro to hondata for a v4 white kpro swap?
