Vtec not engaging and kpro ID

I just picked up a PRB kpro v4 from a local seller. It is installed in my 02 rsx-s. Only issue I have is vtec does not engage. I have loaded stock cal to lightly modified cal and still no vtec. When swapping back to my factory ecm, vtec engages just fine. I have read that modified prb ecu for 05-06 rsx-s will cause certain features not to work in 02-04 rsx. Is this the reason why my vtec does not engage? How do I confirm if I have a modified ecu for the 05-06? Any help will be much appreciated.

What is the serial number that is on the K-Pro board on the inside of the ECU?

Where was this purchased from?

It was purchased from Hub city performance

[Spunkster]

You should discuss this with Hub City as they are the ones that installed this into the ECU.
