Hi,
Since kpro4 upgrade, my fuel pump will not prime. It just comes on with ign and stays on.
The prime time is set to 2 secs and window unchecked for stay on. Yes i did upload after changing the setting.
Tried this a few times but still no prime function.

Also since kpro4, i cannot download from ecu. At first it prompted a registration. That i then did. Then after reboot and trying a few times, still not able to download. No window popup. Nothing happens when i click download. Yes ignition is on and link is perfect.

Any help please?

Forgot to mention.
All was fine until just before upgrade. Was V2 and now V4.
Its a DC5R with PRC ecu. No wiring been touched. No hacking. No nothing.

Instead of downloading, try to upload your saved calibration to the ECU.

I lost my file. So i need to get it out of ecu.

Connect the KPro to the laptop and in KManager open the K-Pro window. Under 'Calibration' if there is a calibration there you will see it. If that is blank, there is no calibration stored on the K-Pro.

there is cal. otherwie it wouldnt start and run.
why is my prime not working?

The calibration is on the ECU and the V4 does not read the calibration from the ECU. It only can download the stored calibration that has been saved to the K-Pro itself, but that file is not what is running the car.

Issue still unresolved.
I did find my file on my pc and thats sorted. Although the upload from ecu DOES NOT WORK PERIOD. but not needed for now.
The fuel pump prime on ignition window period STILL DOES NOT WORK. keeps pump on ALL THE TIME. Checked everything and replaced relay also.
And theres more, the force fan on also doesnt work. Tried all temps but nothing. Fan currently only operates via oem fanswitch. Not ideal for my setup and running temps.

Please help.
Keep in mind that all these issues presented itself as soon as i plugged in after kpro4 upgrade.
In the iterim, absolutely no wiring was touched!

Please explain. Upload from ECU? Upload to ECU? It is important that you have uploaded your calibration successfully to the ECU with the latest software version before trying to diagnose any further.

Like i said before. I found my file and loaded to ecu with latest sofware.
Thats sorted.

Have you uploaded your calibration to the ECU? If so , you please explain step by step exactly what you are clicking on.

Please lets move on from uploading issue. File has been loaded fine and any changes reflect 100%.
The 2 other issues sound to me more like hardware?

Based on what you are describing it does not sound like you have uploaded to the ECU that changes you have made. This is why it is important to describe exactly how you are uploading. This is especially important when you are also saying upload does not work period.

Latest kpro running
Usb connected
Ign on
Driver and software updated
File,open, my Cal,
Upload using up arrow successfully
Start car and drive , all normal
Switch off ign and back on
Fuel pump stays on all time. Try again a few times. Stays on with ign. Even after new relay installed.
File request is 4 sec on period and stay on is set to off
Then start car and get up to temp
Force fan on is set to 90'c
Fan does not come on until about 100'c briefly obviously via oem fanswitch
Try changing the threshold to 95 and still the fan only comes on via fanswitch
The water temp sensor was tested against another one. Checks out.

Please try this ECU on a different vehicle.
