Hi there I've got a problem with my kpro, I've checked the forums and the troubleshooting guides.

Vehicle :2002 new Zealand new dc5 type r had a prb ecu

Kpro s/n :red board-  11601

Version 3

Version software :v4.3.2

Ecu : prc - 013

S/n : 2070-300665 1812

Mods : engine is k20a2

             Stock engine

             mongoose alarm

             Factory immobilizer

Purchased ecu 2nd hand

Problem: k manager shows its working all fine,  but won't clear security,  starts loading and half way loading he green bar it stops and has a message saying upload failed, also does this when trying to upload any calibration.

The green key symbol on the dash board is flashing and the car will turn over but won't fire.

So far I've reinstalled the k manager, manually installed the drivers and usb drivers , the usb test shows normal function.

The light inside the ecu is solid green

I've taped the lid of the ecu where the usb connector is

The calibration I'm Trying to use is the stock k20a2 , and I've tried to turn on the immobilizer function In the function parameters

I've registered the ecu to myself on the kpro menu.

So that's everything I've done so far any info would be greatly appreciated,  I feel like it's something to do with the factory immobilizer?

Thanks

This will not have anything to do with the immobilizer. It sounds like you have a purchased a damaged ECU/K-Pro. You might try downloading the most recent version of software from the software section of the website and see if that has any effect. If it does not, you should contact one of the Hondata dealers in your country to have them check this out for you.
