Hondata

Hi Forum,

I have a mildly built naturally-aspirated B16A3 from a Del Sol that I need a basemap for. I have checked the Hondata built-in logs and the only B16 built-in maps include forced induction via supercharging or turbocharging.

My build includes:

Stock Del Sol B16A3 OBD1 P30 ECU

Internals:
B16A3 bored .010 over
OEM CTR B16B pistons (.010 over) (higher compression than stock b16a3 ratio)
Stock bottom end beyond pistons.
New bottom end bearings
CTR single crank pulley

Valvetrain:
Supertech dual valve springs for all 16 valves
Supertech titanium retainers for all 16 valves
OEM ITR camshafts and cam gears

Intake:
OEM ITR intake manifold
OEM B16 throttle body
Aftermarket CAI
OEM O2 sensor

Exhaust:
PLM 4-2-1 Toda B-series rep header

Fueling:
OEM 240CC injectors
Walbro 255LPH fuel pump

Transmission:
Exedy replacement clutch
OEM flywheel
NO LSD

If there are any other parts that I did not include they're most likely OEM.

If someone could help me develop a basemap or even give me a basemap that would be much appreciated. I'm completely new to Hondata tuning and could use a guide even after reading the Hondata supplied information with the S300 Manager program and online research.

I would just run a ITR or CTR stock base map if you are just trying to start the car. You will need a wideband to tune or bring it to a tuner

I wouldnt run the itr basemap. I noticed it runs higher timing, i would start off with a b16 and add fuel start from there.

More fuel than the stock amount from B16a or B16B?
