MAC 3 port Boost Solenoid Install Question

What would happen if I accidentally tapped the 12v source needed for MAC solenoid into pin A1 on p28 OBD1 ecu vs the A25? Would this mess up the injector pulse and cause engine failure?

IT could have damaged the ECU. If all the injectors still fire correctly then it is probably ok.

Well something broke in the engine on the dyno and my tuner thinks its a bent rod. He said Boost solenoid wasn't acting right so he checked the wires to see what caused the bent rod and noticed the 12v source going to boost solenoid was taken from pin A1 rather than A25. He thinks that caused the issue.
I am just trying to understand if that indeed is the issue or if 380whp was too much for stock F20b engine. He said it was at 13 psi when something broke. I have yet to take apart the engine to see what happened. He has tuned several stock motors past 400whp so he was confident that this engine should be fine.
The only reason I want to sort this out to figure out if I should buy another stock F20b and run it at those power levels since we fixed the solenoid wire. But if you think that it's probably due to too much power on stock engine then I would look into a built engine or running lower boost.
He claims there are people running 400whp on stock 4 cylinders for couple years without issue.

If it indeed has a bent rod you need to tear it down and determine what caused that. Simply miswiring a solenoid will not bend a rod. Your tuner should have been able to tell that boost control was not working correctly after just a run or 2.
