help!
2002 RSX base
40719
kmanager 4.3.2.0
37820-pnd-a06 2062-603593 0e07
Factory base rsx map with immobilizer disabled
Car has no mods. IM Ground is moved to cylinder head.
I am brand new to this, but I feel that I have done sufficient research and that I haven't done anything crazy. I bought a used KPRO 4 from a reputable member in CRSX. I plugged it in, loaded up a basemap with no problems and took it for a test drive and it felt great. Later that afternoon, I turned it on and got a CEL and was unable to rev past 4k. No codes from KManager or from my obd2 tool. I have cleared security and reloaded the kal multiple times.
While Datalogging, it doesn't lose connection or anything, but it seems "stuck." By that, I mean it constantly shows at 5421 RPM, moving at 52 MPH etc etc. None of the sensors update, and the graphs are just straight lines.
I still have my stock ECU, and the car runs fine when that is plugged in. I have verified that the daughterboard is firmly attached to the ECU and is not loose.
What do I do??

What is the serial number that is on the K-Pro board inside the ECU?

40719.
I was using my stock ecu over teh weekend but put the kpro back in yesterday afternoon and it worked properly. I was able to take a datalog, though I didn't do anything crazy just regular driving to the store. I probably drove it around town for an hour yesterday afternoon with multiple stops and everything was fine.
I went to turn it on again at night and the same problems occured. Limp mode, CEL, and the datalogging was stuck with the same values as before.

This was sold as an install kit to Synoptic Tuning, so you should contact them for any issues as it could be installation related.

Is there something with the car or unit I could check first?
I don't want to try and get my money back and buy a new one, or send this one in to be checked if I receive a confirmed working unit and I still have the same problems. If you check that datalog i posted, it looks like the 02v occasionnally drops to 0 and the AF jumps to 32:0.. could I have a wiring problem or something?

The only other thing you can check is to make sure that you are using resistor type spark plugs.

Update:
I changed my spark plugs. They were the original, and there was lots of wear on them.
After doing so, I plugged in the kpro and received p0134, primary 02 sensor no activity connected. This code does not come up with the stock ECU. The car also did not run in limp mode on this code. I understand that I can disable this in kmanager, but I wouldn't want to do this on the primary 02 would I?
Is this progress? Will changing that 02 sensor help? I will gladly change it if it fixes it but is it not weird that the stock ECU doesn't throw the code?

Update again..
Same thing. Drove it around during the day and tried again at night. Back in limp mode. p0134 still up. I don't want to clear it in case it doesn't come back but the car is still limp.. I'm starting to think it's a car problem?
p0134 and limp with kpro
no codes/cel and all fine with stock ecu

You need to follow the trouble shooting steps in the factory service manual for the error you are getting and go from there.

I put the car in open loop to try and ignore the o2 for a bit, and I got a daughterboard communication error. It still periodically will go into limp mode, but it is less often than before.
I put a multi to the battery and measured 12.65 while off and 14.75 while on with no lights/radio. 14.6 with headlights on.
I noticed that I get some engine noise through my radio.. Nevr noticed before. Could this indicate wiring issues? It's the stock unit so it's very old as well.
What should I check next? Engine grounds?

Use the multimeter to measure the voltage at the ECU when cranking.

Sorry how do I do that?
a2 = +
a4 = ground
How do I measure while the ecu stays plugged in?

Remove the lid and you can connect to the pins.

Ignition on engine off at 12.25
cranking it dips to 10.3-4
engine on sits at 14.5

Sorry should have left the pins on longer..
While on, it sometimes jumps from 14.5v to all over the place. I saw 10, 3, 0.7.. etc.
Obviously that sounds like the problem? The bottom light on the kpro was flashing red as this was happening.
There was a brief period where the light was green. The car felt like it "reset" while it was running and the CEL came off and I could rev past 4k. I wans't able to capture voltage while that happened though,
