Kpro won't connect after upgrade

I just got my upgraded ECU yesterday. I previously had V2 which had the car running well the weekend of the 28th. I installed the new ecu and wanted to confirm my calibration so I attempted to connect and it will not show ignition is on even in the run position. Checked grounds, checked voltage, checked fuses and all the basics. I have seen on a few other threads that the green light comes on for a brief time then red then faint red flashing, this is what mine does weather its installed or not. It is a PNF ecu in a 02 EP3 KPro V4 #44845 literally had it running days before the upgrade... Never had a problem with KPro like this, I am extremely frustrated at this point...

Voltage drop when switched to "on" position... I tested voltage on the battery with the switch off and it passed just fine but did not test with ignition on, foolish mistake. Hooked my charger up and bingo was his namo... I work on multi-million dollar overly complicated cranes for a living and sometimes forget to K.I.S.S. it

Did you need to reset the immobilizer or was it the same?

I kept everything the same, didnt have to do anything with the immobilizer, just had a "special" moment
