Hi everyone. I'm new to the world of hondata. I'll jump right into the issue:
Car starts and idles as normal. Up until this point had 0 issues. The afr was a little lean for idle, so while it was running I added a tiny bit of fuel on the low cam table, pressed upload, car immediately died. After it died, I started it again, tried to apply throttle and the car instantly dies. If it give it less than 5% throttle it'll rev up fine. The aem wideband reads normally, but when I am datalogging the AF doesn't change at all. It's stuck at 17.41:1. I tried erasing the ECU and uploading the original calibration with no luck. Car dies when throttle is applied. Still idles fine, a little leaner than normal. I suspect the ECU is getting the wrong AF reading and as such is not running right. I am worried I may have fried the ECU??? Sure hope not, I read on here that it's not harmful to upload while running.
Car is a 96 GSR built and turbo'd, running Hondata s300 V1. Everything else seems to be functioning normal except the hondata AF reading.
Help is much appreciated!!! Thanks.

Attached are 2 datalogs and the current calibration

Re: Having issues with ECU
close the program, reopen it, go to new calibration, open one of the base maps and see if that resolves the issue. You may just have a corrupt calibration.

Re: Having issues with ECU
Just tried that, ran a stock GSR calibration with 550cc injectors. It'll rev up normally now, but the AF reading still wont change between 17.38 and 17.41 on the hondata.

Re: Having issues with ECU
Somehow i got the afr to read properly.. changed the wideband input among other things. Not sure why it was off. But anyways, the throttle issue still persists. Whenever i give it more than 5%(assumed) throttle the engine bogs and dies. No idea whats going on here.

Re: Having issues with ECU
More specifically, when i punch the throttle it stalls out. If I gradually build up the revs slowly it will run properly, though fairly lean.
Re: Having issues with ECU
Post your calibration and a datalog showing the issue.
