Map pressure drop after 6500rpm

Post by mladjan »

Hi guys,

Attached is log file for high compression k20 setup, with stock throttle body and k&n typhon kit (now is changed to injen cai, but log is few months ago).
I would like to know, what can be the cause of drop of map pressure?
As you can see after 6500 rpm until 8500 rpm ecu is not using 10th column, only 8th and 9th:

Yes, I have two logs attached. Take a look at WOT around 7-8.5k rpm
autoput log.kdl
autoput 2 - 8.kdl

It's not dropping that much, but there is probably some intake restrictions.
Try using a bigger intake pipe and throttle body.
You could also insert a new load index between column 8 and 9 to get a bit better resolution on your tuning.
But make sure you enable boost tables first, click on Options>Show boost tables.
