Add bluetooth feature to non bluetooth hondata

Post by adbodykits »

Hi friends. I have a P28 with Hondata S300 without bluetooth feature, just the usb cable for dataloging.

I wonder if its possible to plug an usb-bluetooth device to that cable, and use the android hondata app to retrieve the ecu data???

USB is a master/slave technology. The s300 is a USB peripheral or slave, and must be plugged into a USB master like a laptop. A USB-BT device is also a slave, and will not work unless plugged into a USB master. Even if that worked, the USB-BT would need to know the polling protocol for the s300.

We do offer an upgrade for earlier s300 customers.
