I'm looking for a car to play around with, with a boosting system that I developed.
A Honda with S300 system seems perfect for that because of the MAP sensor, price and possibilities.
I like to have the following specs:
- Cheap car because probably it will brake down (located in Europe, preferably the Netherlands).
- Base map calibration
- 2.0 liter or bigger
- max boost 0.4bar / 6psi
Correct me if i'm wrong, seems that the Europeaan Prelude or Accord 2.0 will not work with the S300 system.
Whereas I'm not a Honda expert, it's hard to find the right car, engine, map combination.
I have a background in electrical engineering and not afraid of soldering etc. but I prefer plug&play.
Hopefully someone can give some tips!
Buy simple S300 setup
Re: Buy simple S300 setup
To use a Hondata system, you will need to use a compatible OBD1 ecu from the list at http://www.hondata.com/ecus.html. You can then use the Hondata s300 ( https://www.hondata.com/index.php?_route_=s300 ).

Thanks Spunkster for the reply.
So the second link mentions all Prelude's from 1992 till 2000.
But there is no Prelude in the first link with ECU's.
Can I expect that the S300 setup will work with any Prelude or only a couple of editions/engine's.

It will work with all those years manual Preludes. You must use a compatible OBD1 ECU with the s300.

If I understood correctly, the 2.0liter Prelude/Accord engines are not compatible?
Re: Buy simple S300 setup
You should be able to use it on them as long as they have an OBD1 distributor and use a compatible OBD1 ECU.

Okee thanks,
Now I understood that it can be every car as long as you swap the ECU with one on the list.
