i need advice on what i need to use for my swap....i want to fit a JDM B16A2 in a OBD II 96 civic coupe EX. engine is from a 95 model civic SiR II from Japan producing 170hp and has 10.4:1 head compression. the engine comes with P30J OBD I ECU. now i am thinking of going FI and using vortech aftercooled supercharger with 10PSI (definalty will fit low compression psitons and forged rods want to make the head compression down to 9.5:1 with double gasket, sleeved block....etc to withstand the boost).....but the thing i dont know if my engine will work with my country's fuel since the fuel in Japan is richer than ours....we use here 95RON which is about 91-92 octane rating. i dont want my engine to detonate or wear out of over heating......so i am looking for an easy to use system that can make sure that my spark timings are not retarding or misfiring and my fuel mapping meeting my country's fuel requirement.......in general i want to get satified with a reliabel system.............so is s200 the ECU for me? will it work with my P30J ECU or do i have to get a P28? if you think it will work with the P30J OBD I the what else do i need exactly? i read the site and looked everywhere for something got to do with what i am looking for and no luck.
hope somebody can help,
Kamal
