P1166 05 rsx type s primary o2 sensor stuck at 0.00v and -37.00A

Post by vaultrsx »

I thought this problem was due to a faulty o2 sensor so I replaced it with a 02-04 type s af sensor and it still gave me p1166 with no reaction at all so I removed the 4 pin connector and turned the car on to see if the error would continue or if it would give me another. Threw a p1166 still even with af sensor unplugged. So then I checked resistance of the sensor and it was in specifications s l I tried another kpro on my car and voltage and current was read finally and my af ratio was correct too. I put my ecu in their car and it threw a p1166 what could be wrong. I know the ecu carries the problem otherwise it wouldn't have hopped to the other healthy car. What is the likely cause I got this as a birthday gift and I want to know warranty or any help from the admins please. It would be much appreciated.

It sounds like the ECU is damaged. The ECU is not covered under any warranty. If you need to swap the K-Pro to a working ECU it will be $150 to do so and you will have to supply the working ECU.

Send and email to support<at> hondata.com with the following and I will issue an RMA and give you further
