K pro issues

So i got back my ecu from hondata about a week ago for my 02 rsx type s and i followed the installation process. Fired right up and set the calibration to a cai tune and worked fine but threw a p1259 vtec malunfction code and would not rev past 4000 rpm so stuck in limp mode. After trying to trouble shoot it i eventually ended up taking the solenoid out and cleaning it checking for any debris but was fine. Tried again with no luck. I unchecked the oil pressure switch and drove it that way but now dies while in idle sometimes. Tried uploading stock calibration and it cranks but doesnt turn over. I will be replacing the oil pressure switch in the solenoid but i have a feeling thats not the issue. Anyone have any ideas? Need answers soon need it ready for a turbo.

Have you checked your oil level?

It sounds like you might have an oil pressure issue and the bearings have tightened up and that is why it is stalling.

Well it stalled twice and i just replaced the whole vtec solenoid so i know it has to be the ecu. I didnt have any issues with it stalling or vtec malfuntion before i sent it to hondata.

We don't change anything that would cause stalling unless it is just a tuning issue. Are you still getting error codes?

I would recommend that you try this ECU in a different working vehicle to see if the same error occurs.
