Overrun Injector Settings

Hi Hondata

I'm running TSX AT 2007-2008,04,05 tsx base map on a stock 05 RBB engine with good drive feeling now.

But I don't like the feeling when I release gas pedel on 1500RPM, then the rev drops too quick, it likes somethings suddenly pulling the car. I checked the calibration and found:

Overrun injector restart rpm (cut) is set to 1450rpm under 176F
Overrun injector restart rpm (recovery) is set to 1200rpm under 176F.

My question is what setting will give most smooth drive feeling to me?

Cheers!

Bian.Yy

You will have to try making changes and see what works best in your situation.

I want to disable this function, how can I do ?

I don't like the injector cut/jerk at around 1200 RPM when gas pedal released, it's very bad moving in a traffic jam.

thanks.

It cannot be disabled. Details on the overrun cutoff can be found at: https://www.hondata.com/help/flashpro/r ... ub=overrun

I have the same problem on my 12 tsx. Very jerky when getting on and off the pedal. I can see my motor mounts going very soon.
How can we disable the injector from turning off while deceleration?
Id rather keep my injectors on then feel the engine bounce back and forth.

What is the original parameter on a stock ECU? I didnt feel such a jerk when releasing padel on a stock ECU, If this function is notbe able to turn off, can I set it to be above 10000 rpm to avoid to activte it?

I set the value to cut 2500 and recovery 2200 and feel it much better for daily drive.
I am also thinking if I can set both to be above10000rpm to avoid it happen.

Can you take a screen shoot of said changes?

Thanks. I'll try these settings.

The injector kicks in to late. You must enter a lower value in the section:
Overrun manifold pressure:
Overrun cutoff MAP low cam (cut) and recovery

I played with the settings to find the best value for my injector set.

You mean I dont need to change the cut/recovery rpm values? Instead by changing cut/recovery MAP threshold?

Cheers!

You can lower it to save fuel. For DW800 I have overrun cut: 1850 and recover: 1600
Another cool thing is, to adjust the Error Conditions (Maxmimum plate deviation (P2101)

If the low TPS (%) values from angle 1.9 to 15.0 will be increased the gas pedal will be also smoothed out.
Stock values:
1.9 = 4.0
6.0 = 5.4
10.0 = 5.7
... = 6.0

Good setup for me:
1.9 = 5.5
6.0 = 5.8
10.0 = 5.9
... = 6.0

Try a little bit to find out the best pedal/TB values for you. In result: If you release the gas quickly in low rpm you will have a soft transition into the idle/engine break...

Thanks for the settings. I went with .171 for the cut and .200 for recover. My car drives so much better now. I especially love it on the curvy roads, when you're on the throttle and off the throttle very quickly.
