Set timing 4 degrees off..

Post by Rasmusm »

Hello

I had My built h22 dynoed and mapped with hondata, but I thought I would check My timing om the distributor yesterday, it says 11degree. And the h22 should be 15. But when I Go into set timing in hondata, that means that i generally increase timing by 4degrees All over the Matrix?

In generel could I -4degrees on the entire ignition map? To make Up for this mistanke?

You should talk to your tuner to see if they set your timing correctly before tuning. If you change it now, it will change all the tuning they have done.

I recommend taking it back to the tuner, setting the base timing correctly then let the tuner make any needed changes on the dyno to make sure it is safe.
