Zex nitrous/Hondata s300

Hello all, noob to this forum. Been searching now for a long time about Zex and Hondata and all posts just either leave me hanging or take me right back to the same wiring diagram. I have researched this quite a bit and wanted your thoughts on my conclusion. So:
To use the Zex dry kit with Hondata first we will not be using all the features of the Zex control module (brain) so regulator and manifold fittings from the unit can be removed and capped off with 1/8" plugs. Alrighty then.
I made me a diagram but not sure how to upload pics yet so I'll try and be thorough with my explanation.
Zex Activation switch has two terminals: one goes to chassis ground and the other goes to b8 (PSP)on the Honda ECU. I have a JDM p30 b16 ECU.
From the ECU the output ground signal comes from pinout A20 (pcs) and is connected to terminal #85(ground terminal) on the relay.
Now from a switched 12v source in your car you connect a wire (15a to 30a fuse in between) to terminal #30 on the relay. From terminal #30 you connect a jumper to terminal #86..this will send 12v to terminal #87 which is your 12v output terminal on the relay. You will connect two wires to terminal #87 one going to the red wire on the Zex unit and the other goes to a voltage converter (12v to 5v) $9 on Amazon. From the voltage converter you connect the 5v to your car's TPS sensor wire. Black Zex unit wire goes to chassis ground.
I have a couple questions with educated answers but still need confirmation: white wire off Zex unit no longer used? No because the 5v TPS source is now coming from the relay and voltage converter is my guess.
And second question (Dariuzs?) how does the car know to spray at WOT only now with the 5v signal coming from the voltage converter getting a 12v signal from the relay?
It would seem that when you switch on ignition the relay would be switched on automatically but Hondata would not aknowledge it until the activation switch is turned to the "on" position...ok so now I'm driving and smash down on gas pedal to WOT..how does it work from there? The red wire is powering up the Zex unit solenoid but how does the 5v signal cause the solenoid to spray at WOT using this method of wiring. I took bits of people's not so good explanations and the one that helped the most was Dariuzs explanation but I'm still unsure on the "how" by wiring it this way my "NOS will spray at Wot only". Any clarification is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
