Hi, I'm new to the forum and a beginer when it comes to car electronics.
I have builed a race car and installed a kpro and a race capture pro data logger.
The kpro is an v2. I know that the 4 is CANbus enabled, but I don't lnow about the v2.
With the v2, I am trying to get a rpm signal from the e26 wire, but I don't have any reading in the RCP. Do I have to enable something in Kmanager?
I would also like to get a ECT signal. On what wire could I get one?
Thanks
Kpro2 with datalogger
Re: Kpro2 with datalogger
There is no can output on a V2 K-Pro.
You should not tap into the ECT or IAT sensor wires as it will alter the reading the ECU receives.
You will need to contact the manufacturer of the race capture device to see what kind of signal it is looking for.

Re: Kpro2 with datalogger
Ok, I'm sending my kpro tomorow to be upgraded. Does the patch harness to connect the CAN high and low will come with the kpro once upgraded? If not, where to get one?
Re: Kpro2 with datalogger
Yes it comes with everything.
