Lean Protection with aftermarket wideband?

Post by fonzeka »

I got kpro4 for S2000 and I was looking to enable Lean Protection but for some reason the boxes are grayed out.
I obviously don't have the stock PRB wideband sensor but I thought it would still be possible to use this feature as long as you use a wideband as primary sensor?
In this case I'm using a PLX wideband connected to the digital input and it's also used for closed loop.

You need to switch from a PRA based calibration to a PRB calibration.

Ah I understand, in the future though is it not possible you are going to have this feature enabled on PRA calibrations as well?
It would be nice to still be able to switch to the stock narrowband and also avoid all the work in converting from PRA to PRB.

It is not a feature which has been incorporated into the PRA code (due to space constraints), so is not a simple matter of enabling. I'll add it to the list to see if it is possible.

To clear up any confusion, you CAN use an aftermarket wideband for lean cut with Kpro4 if you switch to a PRB calibration?
