S300 v1 reading wrong tune?

after my car had been sitting for about 6 months. i got it running and took it to the drag strip. on the way it seems i was getting fuel cut, which was very odd. i made a couple of passes and i lost 2 seconds on my time from the previous track visit. i made a little over 400whp on 91 octane and i have stock s2000's keeping up with me... theres something definitely wrong with my tune.

i hooked up the laptop to the ecu and hit "download" from ECU (S300 v1), as my tuner never gave me a copy of my tune file. On the downloaded tune, the settings are all different from my tune and it seems the maps are some type of base map maybe? whats weird is on my car the launch limiter is set at 4200 which is correct, but the downloaded file shows that its at 8600 which is incorrect. On the downloaded tune, boost control is also turned off, and it shows its on "open loop". The ECU does not have a red light.

what gives?

also, is there another way of getting my actual tune file? ive tried calling AND emailing my tuner and i havent gotten a response...

just saw this sticky, info added below

If the file you download form the ECU is incorrect, then it sounds like it is corrupted. The only way to get the right file will be to get it from your tuner at this point. The version 1 was never designed to have the calibration downloaded from it. If you upload to the new V3 s300 it has specific memory just for holding a copy of the calibration to download.

Thanks Spunk,

So from the sounds of it, with the green light and all, my s300 v1 is still operating as it should? If that's the case I'll just use the upgrade program and upgrade to the v3... Hmmm
