Immobiliser light keeps flashing

Hi guys. My fn2 2009 model was driving fine. I parked my vehicle, went to shop and when I returned, car wouldn't start. Green light kept flashing. Took the car to Honda workshop and they can't access my immobiliser unit via their computer and Honda device. Even the workshop manager hasn't a clue... I need some advice and guidance please. HELP!!!

You immobilizer in the steering column may have gone bad.
