Throttle control issues

Hi all,
As soon as I depress the pedal, once it responds it immediately revs up to near 3k rpm. I cannot manage to get rpms to say 1500rpm and hold.

Basically, visually, I can see the throttle cable/wheel and it opens in what I think is a smooth and linear motion as I press the pedal in the cabin with the engine off. I havent watched to see if anything is different with the engine on yet. I was thinking maybe the throttle plate is sticking slightly?

The Kpro is setup correctly and the TPS signal responds correctly, at 0 throttle there is no signal, at flat throttle it is 100%.

It feels like the throttle is almost an on/off switch. FYI car idles nicely at 850rpm which is set in the ECU also.

Looking at some logs ive done after setting up the car, the TPS is not registering a signal even tho the RPMs are going up.

For example, starting at VVS=0kph in my log, i get to 1600rpm (47kpa map), 9kph but TPS still shows 0%. At another point it does the same, i get to 1600rpm before it registers a TPS value.

Next question then, could it be an adjustment or is the sensor actually faulty...

With ignition on and engine off look at the TPS reading while you are slowly pressing the accelerator down and let it up.
The TPS reading should rise nice and steady, if not I would guess the TPS sensor might be bad.
