Engine start logging not possible anymore?

Hi hondata,
I found out with the latest version the engine start can not logged anymore. The logs are still available but can not be saved on the PC...
I can record logs only if the engine is still running.

Installed flash pro manager: 2.3.5

Here the detailing of my problem recently:

Datalog-Session #1:

1. Plug Flashpro into OBD2-Port
2. Switch key to ignition-position
3. Press Datalog-Button (before start the engine) to start a Datalog (Datalog LED lights up/flashes)
4. Now start the engine
5. The Datalog LED goes out/canceled (i think no datalog is saved on the Flashpro!)
6. It is not possible anymore to make Datalogs from the engine cranking/starting (in earlier versions, this was no problem!)

If i press the Datalog-Button after cranking/engine start, then i can make datalogs still without any problems (datalogs on the Flashpro in the datalog-list)

-> Now i make more datalogs after this engine start session are saved on the Flashpro (download/save from Flashpro to notebook and open from/with Flashpro-Manager are possible!)

#1 Drive session completed -> stop engine!

---

After ~8 hours i make a new session (Flashpro permanently connected to the OBD2-Port over the time between Session #1 to Session #2!)

Datalog-Session #2 (The previous datalogs are still exist on the FlashPro):

1. Flashpro is still pluged into OBD2-Port

If i press the Datalog-Button after cranking/engine start, then i can make datalogs still without any problems!

-> Now i make more datalogs after this engine start session are saved on the Flashpro.
The first 1-2 logs in this session are correct (download/save from Flashpro to notebook are possible, storages are on my notebook!)

Then i make more 1-4 logs are recorded from the Flashpro, (download/save from Flashpro to notebook are possible, but no storages on my notebook!)
The downloaded files do not exist on my notebook!
Neither, even if I try several times to save the files!
Accordingly i can not open the files from/with Flashpro-Manager!

---

#1: Furthermore something is at FlashPro already over years:

If i upload a Map from the secondary storage from the Flashpro, the Flashpro always make a short datalog or save a short datalog to the Flashpro.
I think this which, because I have to press the "datalog-button" to upload a Map from secondary storage of the Flashpro!?

This problem/phenomenon I do not have, if I a upload a primary Map to the ECU or if i upload Maps (primary/secondary) with my notebook to the ECU, because I do not press the "datalog-button" in this case!

#2: And an onother bug in Flashpro-Manager:

If i open a read-only Flashpro-Map over the Windows-Explorer to open in the Flashpro-Manager and would save this file in FlashPro Manager, the program (FlashPro-Manager) crashes.

IF I would like to open the file directly in FlashPro-Manager, the message "read only" pops up!

I hope you understand and can fix this issues?

Thanks alot!

I can sign this steps.
I can also say it is winter and the battery is a little bit under stress. So in few mornings I get the information from the flash pro manager - battery warning 11.7 volt. (under 12 volt)
My battery is 1 year old and the engine start pretty good under this conditions. So Maybe the flashpro must also plugged in the notebook to make the engine start log?

I do not think, that this trouble comes from there!

On the one hand, because I never had that problem in erlier times.
and
on the other hand, I have built-in a very strong battery (AGM).

In erlier times, the cranking/start logs are still working without a notebook (only with the flashpro!)

Try connecting a battery charger when starting to see if that allows it to datalog the start. If it does then you know it is a low battery voltage issue.

Hondata, what is about this issues in Flashpro Manager:

#1:
If i upload a Map from the secondary storage from the Flashpro, the Flashpro always make a short datalog or save a short datalog to the Flashpro.

If I would like to open the file directly in FlashPro-Manager, the message "read only" pops up!

#3:
I use Windows 10, but under "about" i only read -Windows 8- like this:

Thanks.
1. Press the program button before the datalog button.
2. We'll add another warning message.
3. We've already fixed this.

It does not matter if I press the "program-" or the "datalog-" button at first, if i would upload a secondary map?

Uploading from the FlashPro to the ECU

To upload a calibration which has been previously stored on the FlashPro:

1. Plug the FlashPro into the diagnostic connector and switch on the vehicle ignition.

• Primary calibration - press the Program button for at least one second.

• Secondary calibration - holding the Datalog button down, press the Program button for at least one second, releasing the Program button before the Datalog button.
