Error enabling closed loop kpro v4 (PRA)

Hi, I have just donwloaded kmanager beta 4.2.4

I use Techedge 2j9 on Civic eg K20A2, PRA, KPro 4

Today, I have tried for the first time to setup my closed loop but I received some error:

1-1: P0132 O2 Sensor voltage high
65-2: P0141 Secondary O2 Circuit Heater Circuit Malfunction

Wideband controller is now connected directly to the ground battery and to the positive of stereo connector.
I choosed lamba as unit in the analog input config.
Maybe I have to modify Option->Setings->Units?

It was previously connected to the + and - of the ECU but Kpro detected a voltage fluctuations of 0.5V (both engine on and off)
Changed the source, the oscillation disappeared.
Unfortunately, I had not tried the closed loop with previous connections.

It's a problem of configuration, wiring or damaged components (controller or lambda)??

If I disable the closed loop (as can you see in save_160222_openloop.kal), the wideband (on analog input 0) returns values, and errors not appear

Thanks for help
Don

Post the datalog with the same calibration but in open loop with a wideband reading.

Thanks for reply.

This is a datalog with openloop config (actually narrowband (secondary oxigen Sensor) - PRA)

But, with this configuration, no error occurs.

I know that I have to set a correct value (kPA) for "Maximum MAP for closed loop" and 100% for "Closed loop TPS" in closed loop setting

With everything plugged in and the key in the on position, please go to Help and click on send information to Hondata support. Include a detailed description of the problem.

Ops, I send data with engine running
I have to re-send?
I referred to this post for description

EDIT: I don't have a narrowband

I attach some images to show my settings and to ask explanations

I repeat that I don't have a narrowband installed, I have external wideband and PRA

arrow 1 - for closed loop with wideband and no narrowband, is correct?

arrow 2 - 99% is correct for closed loop, or it is better 110%

Image

arrow 3 - In closed loop is used this table? if so, how it interacts with the Target Lambda table?

Image

arrow 4 - in this settings I have to set lamba unit = lambda (and pressure unit = bar) for closed loop?

Image

arrow 5 - for external wideband is correct use built-in wideband? or I have to set, also in this settings Analog 0?

Image

Here some other settings for information

Some news, I disabled secondary oxygen sensor (arrow 1 in the previous post), so the error 65-2: P0141 Secondary O2 Circuit Heater Circuit Malfunction has disappeared

Good, but there's yet the error 1-1: P0132 O2 Sensor voltage high.

I attached log when MIL goes on.

I have tried to change offset of analog input, 0.1 V / 0 V / -0.1 V, but the error always occurs.

NOTE: Strange that with engine off and Analog0 = 5 V (measured with tester), datalog show 18.8 AFR and not 19.0 (with offset set to 0.0 V)

Techedge wideband also required reference input for GND (WBlin-), and I used "sensor ground of the ECU".
Sensor ground and GND of ECU are at the same potential (measured with tester and engine off)
Also if I set custom analog input range 0.61-1.29 as provided by techedge, AFR is always 18.8 and not 19.0

Thanks for help
Don

Up, there is some news for me?

If you need, I'm here for any information.

Thanks

Please re-download the software from the link you were originally sent to get this to work. It will be the same version number, but you must download and reinstall this and then try the new software.

Thanks for the reply. I've installed new version, check new publishing date (25-feb), downloaded current calibration and re-uploaded.

Unfortunately the problem happens again.

I noticed that O2 and SO2 sensors (primary and secondary oxigen sensor voltage) are both about 4.10 V in the logs.
However AFR logs properly.

I checked the connections and in the connector A:

6 - AFS+
16 - AFS-
22 - AFS HTC+

and, in the connector E

2 - SHO2S
6 - SHO2S HTC
8 - AFS HTCR

are all disconnected/empty

I attach datalog of today, but is similar to the previous.

I saw that MIL happens 2m 06s after engine start (all 4 datalog I've recorded)

Thanks for help
greetings
Don

What is the serial number of the K-Pro board inside the ECU?

What is the serial number that is on the side of the ECU case?

on the side of the ECU: 37820-PRA-E03 (2030-400874)
Kpro: 40943

You should probably contact CPL Racing who installed this to see if they can test the ECU in a known good vehicle for you. We are unable to reproduce any of these errors here.

that's terriiiiible!!!

I live in Italy, a bit far from CPL.
My calibration was done by an expert tuner, but without wideband, because, at that time, was not yet properly supported.

Now, here in Italy, is not easy to find a K20 swap with wideband.
Also, there are few KPro v4 here.

Anyway, the P0132 error, it generates from the ECU or KPro?
Can you tell me the conditions that generate it?

thanks
Don
