Well I had a great weekend.....My wife told me I had to SELL the SI to by a.....Umm...
Ford Fusion
I wanted to unlock my ECU to the Flashpro. I told the salesman it would only take a
second. I was in a bit of a hurry (Salespeople were hovering around the Civic). So,
I hastily plugged the Flashpro into the OBD II and re-calibrated the ECU to stock. This
would have been alright except that's about the time I realized the Civic was RUNNING!
It immediately shut off on its own. I look over to my laptop. Its dead too. The battery died.
I did see the calibration had been successfully uploaded right before my screen went out but
the car won't start.
I brought a 50' extension cord to the dealer, plugged my laptop BACK in and re-uploaded
the original stock calibration. I fired the Civic up and all was good in the world....Or at
least up until I tried to unlock the Flashpro. It said I had to reflash back to stock.....So I
did, and it died again.
I thought no big deal and attempted to re-upload the original stock calibration and get it back
to running.....At this point the ECU was displaying "X" and would not allow me to upload any calibrations.
I attempted to upload a few times with no luck and even updated the software to the latest version.
It will not allow me to calibrate. I even reset the battery....Now the radio is locked too.....yay.
Any other things I can try? Any help would....Well....Help?
Its basically sitting at the Stealership ready to be reflashed by Honda tomorrow morning.
Thank you

Re: 2012 SI in recovery mode
Unplug everything, reboot the computer, switch the car off and then try again.
Make sure you using 'return to stock' rather than uploading the 'stock equivalent' calibration.

Thanks for the response!
I had tried disconnecting and reconnecting, restarting, uploading the
Stock Tune. I started getting an error saying the Key needs to be turned
to 'ON' and it was just going to upload to the Flashpro, followed by a battery
error saying my battery was low.
The only thing I didn't try was grabbing and installing Flashpro on a new
computer.
I'm pretty sure the car is gone now too. They said I had until 8 AM before they
shipped it to Honda service. I just hope that fixes it.
Thanks again for your help!
