HELP CHECKENGINE LIGHT HONDATA S300V3??

Post by 1JDMEG »

hi ok I have been using my HONDATA S300v3 for a while now. today ive been using a map that is better than the other map. I had 6psi running for like 2 weeks now without any problems. my boost cut was at like 10psi. I accidently did more before adjusting and it cut of at 10psi one time today so I turned it down a little again and got it to turned the boost to like 9psi without it cutting outt. I figured out the new manual boost controller I got. I had my shift light on check engine like at 3k rpm all 5 gears. ok then like in the highway ive been driving and then I hit boost I think like 2nd gear or so. I had my iPhone Bluetooth on checking and when 3rd gear I saw the check engine shift light go solid. I saw the parameters on my iPhone it was like about enginecoolant temp. @219 degrees F. about there. I drove and stopped in a parking lot. I checked the Bluetooth iPhone hondata app it says p0219 engine overspped condition or engine overheat condition. I forgot but I was very worried. is this a bad thing. idk if it was exactly the overheating one or the overspeed one. I checked online it says overspeed condition. I turn key off and checked my hondata s300 with my laptop.

and I found no saved codes?? wth??? whats wrong I don't see any thing .

with this hondata s300 v3 if I jump the connector wire will it still show any remaining codes that came on previous? I cant extract it with my hondatas300 after I turned key off.

is it bad if I jump the two wire connector with a hondata s300 v3 program?

im also worried my obd 1 eg has that weird code and why would it have like a code is my motor blown. im trippin it don't overheat. butt today 219 degress f it seems to be the hottest. but seems to cool off. the temps in the gauge don't get very hot. always in between the middle below.

why did this code come up? im worried.

For bluetooth the ECU converts OBDI error codes to OBDII. It seems like you've got the engine overheating protection on and it generated the overheating error code. 219F is not going to damage the engine but it is high, and I would investigate the cause.
