Tach signal question.

Im doing an install on my racecar and currently figuring out wire routing for my aftermarket tach and mandatory kill switch.
The install instruction require the tach signal to be pinned into the plug coming OUT of the dizzy INTO the wiring harness. This set up looks to be looping the tach signal from the CPR box >into the bay & dizzy plug> then back down the harness into the cabin. Makes sense for ease of install for 99% of people.
Im my application- Would I be able to connect the green tach wire from the CPR box (pin13) directly to my tachometer signal wire to avoid the loop through the bay?
also looking to Skip the dizzy plug for the +12v (Yellow wire) and extend the coil power wire after the splice directly to my 12v source that has the ignition breaker.
