Full throttle shift E22 E29 ect. seperate switch

The more I research, the more i get confused lol. I just need some clarification please.
So i want to use the Full throttle shift and I don't want to use the safety switch as i feel that it takes too much time to get the clutch all the way to the floor. I'm not even sure if I put the clutch to the floor when i shift anyway. My car doesn't have cruise control so I can't use that. BUT, I have a OEM cruise control switch so I'm wanting to put that in and use it. K swapped EG coupe btw.
I guess I am unclear on this 12v=on, GRD=on bit. I wired it, 12v source from switched 12v from the fuse box to black wire and the red wire will be going to a fusible link then to the ecu (which I have not done yet btw). So, when the clutch is out, there is 12v running continuous. With the clutch pushed in, the switch is grounded and no 12v going to ecu. Do I use E29 (GRD=on) or do I have this mixed up? Or is it E22 12v=on and when it gets grounded, perimeters set will activate. Really confusing.
Sorry if it's a dumb question. Don't want to fry anything. Some clarification would be highly appreciated. Thanks
