How can i tell if the right components are installed on my PCB to have PWM?

The component locations can be found at: http://www.hondata.com/help/smanager/bo ... tsub=boost

I see that but is there a way to tell from the pic? the computer is hard to get to (to some extent) and the car is at the shop. I dotn want to remove the floor to pull it out if it isnt necessary.

Yes, you compare the components on the two photos. The boost components appear to be installed.

Yeah i couldn't tell that. Is there a way to check this in the smanager?

In the online menu there is a test outputs function.

I cannot get the EBC to work. A11 and 12v are wired correctly but if you do a PWM test nothing happens. Thoughts?

The components may have been damaged from being wired incorrectly. You will have to replace the components and try again. The large transistor is the most likely to be damaged.

can that transistor be replaced with something off the shelf or do i need to buy the hondata kit?

I do not know if that is something you can easily find off the shelf.

Try changing the solenoid frequency to 32hz and re-test the output for the pwm. U should be able to hear it clicking.

Is this set up right for testing? I should just be able to hit test pwm nd it wouls cycle thesoleniod right??

What boost solenoid are u using? is it a mc valve or gm? if mc valve, u need to check the solenoid configuration to maximum boost at 100% duty/normally closed. Then check the variable frequency, then Test pwm boost control output.

I would recommend setting the solenoid configuration to max boost at 100%, activation pressure to 1 psi and check the variable frequency and set it to 32 Hz
