Onboard datalog crashing K Manager
- what vehicle you have: 2004 RSX
- serial number of your K-Pro: Will update in the morning.
- version of software being used (from Help, About): 4.0.8
- ECU part number (starts with 37820) and serial number (the number under the part number): Will update in the morning.
- KManager version (not 'the latest'): 4.0.8
- the calibration (as an attachment): attached.
- a datalog of a problem (as an attachment): Attached. Please rename as a zip file to unzip.
- anything about the car which has been modified from stock which may affect the ECU (don't include what sort of rims you have nor stereo etc).: Hondata Intake manifold gasket. Replaced factory battery grounds with 4GA wire. Turbo.
- when and where you got the K-Pro: K series Parts. ECU was purchased from them new, sent by them directly to Hondata, and then sent to me.
- a specific description of the problem: When loading a datalog made with onboard datalogging, it crashes K Manager. To rule out computer problem, I load the same file on my friend's laptop. It also crashed on his laptop. My friend's onboard datalog file from his k-pro loads fine on my computer.
I can connect my laptop to the ECU with a USB cable and it will log just fine. Only onboard datalog causes the problem.

Re: Onboard datalog crashing K Manager
4.0.8 is listed as the latest production version software.
Do I update to the beta version?

Re: Onboard datalog crashing K Manager
Do the two datalogs supplied (track3.kdl & test v413 - 1.kdl) cause the problem?

Re: Onboard datalog crashing K Manager
Yes. They were both done with onboard datalogging.

Re: Onboard datalog crashing K Manager
Something interesting: If I close the sensor window, it will work fine.
This is for onboard datalog only.
Any logs that I made realtime with the laptop with the USB cable works perfectly fine regardless of anything.

Re: Onboard datalog crashing K Manager
Ok, thanks for all the information. We've found the problem and fixed it for the next release. Unfortunately there is no workaround for the moment.
