Analog Temperature

Can you replace the stock AIT sensor with the Gm version now with the resistor? or they only work with the Analog input?
What advantage would there be? The response time is about the same.
The temperature sensor input are for datalogging only. The GM sensor has a different resistance than the stock sensor. The Bosch sensors are much closer, but still a little different from stock.
