"batch fire" k20aR PRC-013 ecu for KPro (EG Swaped K20A)

Post by the_goblin7 »

Hi,

I have been looking for a PRC ECU to have Kpro installed to use in my K-swaped EG using a K20A. I found one online ("batch fire" k20a PRC-013 ecu). Can this ECU be used for KPro? Is there anything special I need to do it or can I just send it in to have KPro installed? I wasn't sure since the ecu has been modded to batch fire.

Sorry if this an ignorant question.

"Batch Fire" sounds a lot like the ECU has been damaged and is running on the internal backup processor. This is not an ECU you would want to buy.

The seller claims it means the ecu has been reprogrammed to spary all 4 injectors at once instead of one at a time. Sounded strange to me. Not sure why you would want to do that.

Nope, it's damaged. Judging by the photo of the ECU which has 'NFG' written on it, someone agrees.
