Have you ever noticed that the "ignition compensation rpm" value isn't added to the IGN value recorded and showed in the datalog?
Initially I tought that it isn't added at all, but I have tried to zero all the ignition compensation rpm table and I have seen a HUGE loss on the dyno (but the same IGN value on the datalog).

Noticed on 2.3.7.0 version.

It is to compensate for the ignitor/coil in order to achieve the desired ignition timing. It should not be added.

So, if I have understood what you are saying, to obtain the value in the main ignition map at the spark plugs this ignition RPM compensation table must be used. This is due to ignitor, coil, cap/rotor that are not "precise enough".
Can I imagine that using hondata CPR this table isn't needed to achieve the main ignition table numbers (otherwise your explanations have no sense) ? Have you tried something about it?

Essentially it is a compensation for the time delay in the ignition system and also the distributor position vs the actual crank position. We've found that you get the same ignition timing with the CPR as will the stock setup.
If you really want to know then put a timing light on the engine on the dyno and set the main tables flat.
