No crank no start after failing to upload map to ecu

Post by solidust »

I have an 07 civic si with a new kw sc. As I was uploading the map to the car, I realized I forgot to change some settings, so i cancelled the upload (yes I'm a dumbass) and then changed the settings, and then tried to upload again and up came a pop up saying "The last FlashPro upload failed. Failure information : Code 0x00 Step 10 Address 0x000000
Explaination: Check the WEN pin in OBDII Connector."

So after that, no crank, no start, failed uploads, and nothing more. I'm thinking I bricked my ecu? Can anyone chime in and help? I'm pretty frustrated.

It is worth trying to unplug everything and disconnecting the vehicle battery (make sure you have the radio code).
With everything plugged in and switched on, can you use the 'send support information to Hondata' function from the Help menu?
