Kpro v4 and 05 vss

Im sure this has been covered but I cant seem to find good info.Running an 05 base swap with a 03 type s harness in my 99 ek sedan, wonna hard wire my vss to the ecu cause I don't want to cut the plug on my type s harness cause I plan on picking up a type s trans and I want to save my connector, question is do I just check 05 vss in kmanager, will my mph display on my ek cluster, im thinking from what I have read that I would not need a converter, someone please share some good info lol.

You can use it for inputting the vss signal to the ECU but there will not be an output to the cluster from the ECU. You should not select that option in the software as you will need to wire the signal into the vss input on the K-Pro board and then calibrate it to read correctly.

Ah I see, so what options do I have seems like I definitely have to buy a converter to get my cluster to read.

Instead of me creating a new post I'll bite off this one.

I now have kpro4 and I also have a 06 vss

I want to use alternative vss input. And make it read off my rear wheel abs siGnal. I need to know how to wire that up. I know how to find the rear abs sensor as I had traction control before but do I tap the now red vss wire to the positive side of the sensor?

And how do I know the amount of pulses to input?

I tried looking in the kpro4 help file but found nothing to my exact needs.

You cannot use the ABS sensors for the vss input. If you do it could damage the ECU or K-Pro.
