Could not connect via Bluetooth (10060)

Post by Corey872 »

Trying to get my new KProV4 set up for the first time, but keep getting the subject error. USB connection works, but no luck with BT.

When I tried to connect straight through KManager, I get the error - and it doesn't seem to try to run the windows paring utility. I manually used the bluetooth pairing option on my Win7/64 laptop. It seemed to work correctly and have a "KPro" device set up and "working properly".

In KManager, I can refresh the "select Bluetooth Device" list and see a "Direct" "KPro" with an address. But then I click select and the connection times out again.

I've been pouring through the help file, but seem to be at a loss here. Thoughts?

Well, scratch all that. Decided to tempt the definition of insanity and give it another try today. "Bingo" - it just works the first time. Didn't do anything different or change anything since the last time, but now it works.

Windows has the charming habit of requiring a connection to fail three times before it tries anything other than the default PIN codes (0000 or 1234).
