Can a strain gauge be used with kpro? Anyone with experience setting it up?

In theory the seq shift cut could be used with a voltage comparator, but this is not recommended. We've found that shifts using the clutch work a lot better, so full throttle shifting with a switch would be better.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I've seen you guys mention voltage comparators a few times in regards to strain gauge shifting. The LM393 comparator has 2 outputs, which would work for a strain gauge as I believe they work with +/- 2.5v or some shit. Anyway, my question is since you guys keep bringing it up, does this mean you have experience in creating this circuit to use, or is it just a theory you have? lol I'm confident the dog boxes we run would withstand the cut and shift, we just need a way to do it, and with strain gauge shifting a Hondata ecu is very very competitive in the right hands.

Just trying to point you in the right direction - we've never tried this circuit.
