K-Pro 4 / Flex fuel options

Probably going to pull the trigger on the "4" soon. Had a couple questions about it and the flex fuel options:
1) I have everything tuned well and have been running E85 for the past 6+ years. I notice the fuel/timing tables seem to be set with "0% ethanol" as the baseline or zero and increase fuel / ignition advance from there. Can these tables go negative? ie - I would most likely use E85 as the base / zero and remove fuel (negative numbers) and retard timing (negative advance) from there. Is it acceptable to put negative in the cells?
2) I notice some of the tables in "Flex Fuel" are based on 'engine coolant temp' instead of 'ethanol %' (ie Ethanol ECT Compensation, Ethanol Cranking ECT Compensation) How do these relate to ethanol %? It seems like they are simply changing fuel based on coolant temp (which is already covered under "Fuel Compensation" and "Fuel Trim")?
3) Is there a recommended ethanol sensor for use with this? and/or what type and range of E sensor output is required?
Thanks!
