Updating calibration on flashpro

I just bought a new laptop and installed Flashpro Manager and when I plug the USB in it says that the Calibration on the Flashpro needs to be updated. Another window pops up with the Hondata help file telling me to re download the cal but when I click the Options tab FM stops responding. I also notice that the USB light on the flashpro unit goes out.

If I try to open the flashpro tab so I can remove the cal from the unit FM stops responding. Basically, everything in FM works when the unit is not plugged into the laptop (I can open the Cal and everything) but once the unit is plugged in I'm prompted to re download the cal and upload. I also get a window that says the FP firmware will be updated, but as soon as I hit OK, FM stops responding.

The cal on my FP is from feb of this year, not sure what version of FM was current back then, and I have the Cal saved to the new laptop from Vit's site. I'm able to open it in FM, but when I hook up the unit I get the problem.

Ok I updated it on my desktop that still runs 7, it updated the FP firmware, now works on the new laptop.
