flashpro manager with windows 8.1 NEED HELP

hello, i am a new user to flashpro and also running a new computer thats running windows 8.1. i have bought a used flashpro and i downloaded the beta software directly from hondata website but i keep getting "failed (error 0) could not start application" I dont know what im doing wrong i also have the latest driver and installed them manually. I need specific directions to get it to work with windows 8.1. If anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated.
