fuel trim rate of change
fuel trim rate of change
Hi guys. Im experiencing some wild a/f ratio swing from rich to lean. I was told in a previous post I put up. I should check the rate of change. Could someone please explain what this section does and ckuld it fix the wild a/f ratio swing I have when @ cruising speeds?

Have you read the info in the help file at: http://www.hondata.com/help/smanager/cl ... losed+loop
Re: fuel trim rate of change
I've read it but I doesn't explain what actuall changes. Is it the a/f swing when in between changing gears?
Re: fuel trim rate of change
Say if I reduced the rate of change %'s would rapid changes in throttle position equate to a smoother/less a/f ratio swing.
Re: fuel trim rate of change
This has nothing to do with throttle position. It has to do with the short term fuel trim values.
Re: fuel trim rate of change
i'll re word what i meant.
Say if I reduced the rate of change %'s would rapid changes in engine load /vacuum equate to a smoother/less a/f ratio swing.

Re: fuel trim rate of change
It is something you will have to try, what works well for one setup may not work well with another.
