Hi All. Have been using my Kpro on a UK EP3 with a stock motor apart from AEM V2 intake. After a bit of tinkering I flashed the tuned dyno map and its really brought the car to life. However I found I wasn't getting A/F readings because Honda only installed a narrowband o2 sensor! Thus I'm now the proud owner of a PLX DM-6. However I'm a little confused as to the installation. Is there an idiot's guide as I'm not 100% as to what I need to do. I've spent a few hours researching it but its not crystal clear to be honest. Any help would be appreciated and I look forward to posting some KALs and datalogs once all is working :)

The wideband signal needs to be input into the ELD input on the ECU. The ELD can no longer be connected to the ECU. Power should be from the fuse box on one of the switched 12 volt empty spots. Ground should be done at the valve cover.

This wideband signal can only be used for datalogging and cannot be used for lean protection or running in closed loop.

Thanks for the reply. OK so where would you recommend installing the sensor. Replacing the secondary o2 with the wideband and disabling that in K Manager? And leave my stock narrowband for engine management purposes?

You could do that , or have a 3rd bung installed.

Would the narrowband output from the PLX not be able to feedback to the ECU? The PLX controller produces 0-1v and the stock sensor 0-1.25v. It just seems easier to replace the stock o2 with the Bosch which would feedback to the PLX which in turn would feed back to the ECU narrowband pin and ELD pin giving me both narrowband and wideband solutions.

You may be able to do that as long as the voltage conversion for the narrowband exactly matches the stock sensor.

I have installed a PLX SM-SFR but I don't have the readings on datalog. I'm using a Kpro V3 and i have connected the WB signal (grey wire) to the red wire that should be analog 0 right?

I think i forgot to connect the black wires. It should be connected to ECU ground right?

It should ground at the same spot you relocated the ground on the valve cover to.

The Euro EP3 does not have a wideband. What K-Pro do you have?
