Figured I'd post his here because I'm running k-pro, but as far as I know there's a chance it could be a wiring issue.
I have a 2005 RSX Type-S with a turbocharged k24a2 tuned with kpro.
A while back my wiring harness rubbed through the heat wrap on my turbo manifold, burning and severing wires in my engine harness.
I replaced the harness and had the map and tps connectors switched. I realized this pretty quickly after starting the car.
After I had the connectors in the right place the car would start up but kmanager would read that my MAP was around 46psi during idle so it would run extremely rich.
After that I replaced the MAP sensor with a factory one, the car seemed to idle normal. After this I figured that my original hondata 4 bar was fried so I bought a new one.
Once I got the new sensor I installed it and dialed in in on Kpro, went to start the car up and once again it read my idle MAP to be around 46psi.
I put the factory sensor back in and realized even though the idle looked fine(around -18psi) it was reading slightly off when I would rev it.

I talked to a certified master technician at my local Acura dealership that I know personally about it. His advice was to rewire the MAP sensor from the ECU to the sensor.
So do I just have really bad luck with MAP sensors or is there an issue I could have with my wiring or the K-Pro itself?
I'm on the verge of selling my car not running, but that seems ridiculous when this is my only issue.

Any input or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The car would only run if I gave it some throttle, never idled by itself with the 4 bar but was able to with the factory sensor.
That's why my TPS looks so weird.

Can you try the map sensor on a different vehicle with K-Pro to see if it reads correctly?
This will help you determine if you have a wiring fault.

Dont know anyone else with kpro but I could put it on a car with flashpro. Since I've gone through 3 map sensors I'm pretty convinced it's a deeper problem but I'll definitely try it out

Just tried my original hondata 4 bar on my brothers turbo 06 civic si and it didn't work.
I'll try my new one I bought on my brothers car tomorrow night. If it doesn't work it makes think that my car is ruining map sensors somehow...

Tried my new one in my brothers car and it didn't work either. I'd try his in my car but I'm afraid it would ruin it and then he wouldn't have a car to drive.
So what could cause my car to be ruining MAP sensors??

If the wiring to the map sensor is incorrect it will damage it as soon as power is applied to it. You need to correct the wiring fault before plugging in another map sensor. It will also damage a stock map sensor.

What kind of wiring fault should I be looking for? Is there a test I can do with a volt meter before I take the the harness off and tear it completely apart? Assuming there is a fault, wouldn't it be easier just to run new wires from the ecu strait to the sensor and tape it to the harness?

Running separate wires is not a good idea as they are more likely to get interference. You need to check to make sure that the pinout is correct and that it has the correct voltage.

Should I just refer to the helms manual for that? I don't know what voltage to expect and which wires to test.
And is there a way to fix my two blown hondata map sensors or do I just continue to buy new ones until my issue's fixed?

Yes you should use the Helms manual to help trace the wires and make sure they are correct. You should make sure that the wiring is correct before any MAP sensor is plugged in.

You have another vehicle you have tested the map sensor in, you can look at the wiring on that to help you with checking to see if the wires are in the correct position at the plug.
