ok so the original smanger software was the cd from when I got my s300. that program worked perfectly with no problems on windows 8. I deleted the old program to download the new program an I can not find my original program disk. I need to know if their is a fix for running the new program on my laptop or is their somewhere I can get a older version of the program? I nee to download a new map on my car to get it running but I cant now. help is much appreciated. Anthony

so am I SOL? and have to get a different laptop? the newest version will not work on my computer.

There's no reason why it won't work on Windows 8. Where is it going wrong and what error messages are you getting.

after I remove all s300 files and update.it downloads and installs with no problems. then it opens up s300 and a error massage is displayed with a error 4 unable to open application.

turn off your internet connection(for safety) and shut down your anti-virus, then open up smanager. Se if this will work. Im using Vista(which is the worse operating system know to man) and the only way I can use smanager is if my anti-virus is turned off.
