Good Morning Hondata,

I have a 04 RSX type S with an existing PRB ECU installed in California. I recently bought a spare ECU 02-04 type S w/ K Pro v3 installed off k20a.org from a member in Minnesota and the installation was performed at Xenocron Tuning. I verified Xenocron installed K pro by finding the sticker and signature on back of the ECU cover & circuit board.

K Pro ECU sn: 37820-PRB-A05
2068-511272

K Pro sn: 14245

I have Kmanager software v3.3.1 installed, I installed the ecu w/K pro and the fuel pump doesn't want to prime. My car cranks but nothing, I disabled the immobilizer and still nothing. I re installed my orginal ECU and my car turned over and started up fine. I slaved the K pro ECU in again and tried to upload a kal but to no avail, engine cranks and turns over but will not start. I found the daughter board to be loose and re secured it and now the K pro green light lites up, but i have a faint red blink underneath it. I ended up swapping ECU's to original positions. Once I got home I inspected the installation and found the jumper wires to be skeptical and I came here to verify if the installation from the Xenocron technician was performed correctly or I'm doing something wrong in this switchology process.

You should contact Xenocron about this, or try to get your money back from the seller as he may have sold you a damaged ECU or K-Pro.

is there a diagram or procedure i can follow so I can try and repair it on my own? I am a 2m technician in the navy and If you provide me the information I should be able to resolder the wires correctly and figure this out. I already feel I am out of the money and Xenocron says the warranty is void since I am not the original purchaser. Thank you

They should still take a look at it for you and can tell you if it is the ECU or the K-Pro that is the problem.

okay. I spoke with Xenocron and expressed the concern and prolly tomorrow or saturday Ill be sending my ECU and the spare ecu w/k pro in to be looked at and if it is a fuel pump issue in the faulty ecu they will install the k pro into my ecu for a fee and test it and send it back. thank you for the prompt response.
