I've recently wired a manual switch for datalogging (using B5, simple switch to ground). I tapped into B5 down at the ECU, I did not cut the wire for a direct send (maybe I should have). THe car doesnt have AC anymore.

The switch works just fine, the car is datalogging on the switch... but the car runs different once I enable B5. Screenshot attached... the car will go from 16-17 degrees timing, to 19*

It will also fatten up for a few seconds, then work its way back to the usual idle AF

Any ideas?

S300 V2 (2.3.3.0), no CEL's, car runs great no other issues.

Calibration attached, datalog attached (started it manually with laptop open, then hit switch). I also tried the switch with the laptop connected but not actively datalogging... same story

Double check that the switch isn't activating something else too - especially the secondary map (under parameters).

You must cut the wire, see if that resolves this.

Hello Spunkster, I tried cutting the wire but the results are the same. The car idles up a bit once I switch B5 even after cutting the wire (direct lead)

I thought this was a bug that was fixed with 2.3.3?

I dont mind trying another pin, but was hoping to use the existing B5 that i've wired up

This idle up was never completely removed as it has to do with trying to keep a stable idle while the AC is running. If you cannot live with slight idle change then you will have to use a different input.
