air fuel ratio spikes when off throttle

All air fuel ratios seem fine while driving on the throttle but when I let off gas it spikes high... 30.0.1 is that normal? Is it just reading air that's comin in threw the back pressure? Just don't want hurt my engine...

Very common question - it is normal once the injector switch off since there is an excess of oxygen in the exhaust gas.
