kpro/hybrid racing wiring problems
Posted: Thu Apr 24, 2014 8:21 am
Hello to you all,
first of all i am glad to have found this forum! My name is Kim Pruijsen, 37 years old and a real honda fanatic.
my car:
1995 euro honda civic eg4
engine:
euro k20a2 type r from a civic ep3 stock engine except header and exhaust and open air filter.
hybrid racing civic 91-95 conversion harness
hondata Kpro 14113
ecu ser nu. 37820-pra-e02
2030-301321
Kpro bought @ van drie tuning in holland. ( yes i am from Holland :) )
The problem i have is that my primary o2 keeps on giving me an error code on kpro. primary o2 sensor failure. it is the original factory o2 sensor that came with the engine.
now i have heard from the dealer i bought hondata from that the issue might be in having hybrid loom in a euro car. Have read some stories about it and seems that i have to change some wiring in the hybrid loom. So many different stories on the net that i can not find the answer which i feel is right.
can anyone help please?
car runs, but does not "feel" right. gets way to much fuel, tends to die on me when i give a little throttle and stotters al the way.
many thanks on forehand,
Kim Pruijsen.
