I'm having the same issue. I'm running Windows 8. I've tried uninstalling and re installing. I've even downloaded the Smanager again and still gives me the same error. The weird thing is that when I install at the end of the install wizard it asks if I want to open Smanager if I say yes it will open BUT if I close it after that and try to open it up from the short cut on my desk top it gives me the error message again. Please help!! I have looked for Smanager.ini but can't find it.

I'm using AVG free. I made an exception for it, that didn't work and I also turned AVG off it still didn't work.
